Terms of Service

Freestyle Models (“we”, “us”) is an online platform that connects stylists, salons, and beauty schools (“Stylists”) who need people to practice on with people who want free or low-cost beauty services (“Models”). Stylists post sessions; Models browse them and message Stylists to arrange appointments.

We are a marketplace, not a salon. We don't provide beauty services, employ Stylists, or take part in the appointments arranged through the platform. Any agreement about a session is between the Model and the Stylist.

• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
• You must give accurate information and keep your login details secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
• One person per account. Salons and schools may use a shared account for their business.
• We may refuse, suspend, or close accounts that break these terms.

• Describe each session honestly: the service, date and time, location, any fee or product cost, and any requirements (hair length, time needed, photos you'll take).
• You confirm you're permitted to perform the service — for example, as a licensed professional or a student working under appropriate supervision — and that you follow the laws, licensing, and hygiene rules that apply where you work.
• Any fee must be shown on the listing. Don't ask Models for payment or personal information beyond what the session needs.
• Keep listings current: mark them Waitlist or Full once booked, and remove sessions you won't run.
• If you photograph or film a Model, get their consent first and tell them how the images will be used.

• Read the listing carefully and ask the Stylist any questions before you agree — including about allergies, skin or scalp conditions, and the expected result.
• Training sessions can take longer than a regular appointment, and results can vary. You accept that a Stylist may still be learning.
• Show up on time, or cancel as early as possible so someone else can take the spot.
• Tell your Stylist about any allergies or sensitivities. Patch tests may be required for color and chemical services.

You own the photos, text, and messages you add (“Your Content”). By posting it, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, resize, and share it within Freestyle Models so the service can work — for example, showing your listing to Models or your profile photo in messages. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies kept in backups for a short period.

Only upload content you have the right to share. Don't post photos of other people without their permission.

• Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or pressure anyone, including in messages.
• Post sexual, violent, hateful, illegal, or misleading content, or listings that aren't real beauty services.
• Use the platform to sell unrelated products, collect personal data, or move conversations off-platform to scam people.
• Impersonate someone else or misrepresent your qualifications.
• Scrape, copy, or overload the service, or try to get around security or access controls.

We don't run background checks, verify licenses, or inspect salons. Use your judgment: meet at the listed salon or school, tell a friend where you're going, and leave if you feel uncomfortable.

If something goes wrong or you see a listing or message that breaks these terms, please report it to us. In an emergency, contact local emergency services first.

Freestyle Models is currently free for Models and Stylists. Some sessions list a small fee (often to cover products); any such payment is arranged directly between the Model and the Stylist and isn't processed by us. We're not responsible for refunds or disputes about those payments. If we introduce paid features, we'll tell you before you're charged.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no warranties about listings, users, or the results of any service, and we aren't responsible for the conduct of Models or Stylists, or for any injury, damage, or loss arising from a session.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to $100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. This removes your profile, listings, and messages. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we need to for legal or safety reasons.

We may update these terms as the service grows. If a change is significant, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Freestyle Models after an update means you accept the new terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
